About Tropica Design Industries
Tropica Design Industries started as Tropica Designs in 2006 as a countertop fabricator. It added outdoor kitchen manufacturing three years later in a 2,000 square foot building in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Robert McClellan started his company due to the recession and his desire to become an entrepreneur in the plastics industry. In 2011, the company expanded to a 6,000 square foot building to increase production in kitchen manufacturing with countertop fabrication that included granite, marble, solid surface, and quartz for the commercial and residential industries.
In 2015, Tropica Designs became Tropica Design Industries with the purchase of a 35,000 square foot plant located in Lehigh Acres, Florida. With this new acquisition, the countertop fabrication and outdoor kitchen manufacturing, which is projected to increase ten percent each year for the next five years, has plenty of room to handle the demanding growth. This additional space also provides the manufacturing of many additional custom items that are created from aluminum tubing for the tropical outdoor living industry.
The company is known for its personalized and on–time service. Tropica also offers custom outdoor kitchen units, custom fabrication, custom colors, and installation services. The company has become a leader in Southern Florida as the one stop-one shop for all commercial and residential builder needs.
